Fruit Tart
Crust
- ingredients
- 125g butter, preferably room temp
- 60g sugar
- 1 egg
- 175g flour
- instructions
- cream the butter and sugar
- add the egg and the flour and mix
- press the mixture to the tart pan
- bake at 175°C for 15-20 minutes
- if the edges start to lose shape, take it out and with a spoon press
them back against the tart pan
Apple tart
- ingredients
- 8-10 apples
- ~60g sugar + some to sprinkle on top
- 2tsp vanilla sugar
- 50g butter + some extra to add on top
- ~2tsp cinnamon powder
- 50ml water
- instructions
- peel all the apples
- do this before you make the crust, as it may take some time
- when you’ve put the crust in the oven continue from here
- cube half of the apples into small pieces
- put them in a pot with 50ml of water, 60g of sugar and 50g of
butter
- boil until the apple pieces soften
- meanwhile slice the other apples
- pour the filling on top of the crust
- layer the apple slices on top
- cover with a few tablespoons of melted butter, some sugar, and
cinnamon
- bake at 200°C for about 25-30 minutes
Raspberry quark tart
- filling
- 3dl raspberry curd / jam
- 200g quark (kohupiim)
- 1dl heavy whipping cream
- 2 eggs
- 60g sugar
- instructions
- while the crust bakes, mix everything but the raspberry curd /
jam
- once the crust is done, add a layer of the raspberry curd / jam
- gently pour the mixed filling on top
- bake at 175°C for another 30-40 minutes
